Golddiggers
When you see a hot girl with an ugly guy, what's the first thought that comes to mind? "Oh, he must be rich and she's just a golddigger with him for the money." When we see such a physically incompatible couple, we often look at them in disgust. You think to yourself that the girl is probably a whore or something with no substance and the guy is a socially inept troll with more money than he deserves.
My question is WHY?
Assuming the girl IS a golddigger, what do you care? Are you the one being exploited? I think the real answer is JEALOUSY. Depending on your gender, jealousy of the guy being with a hot girl or jealousy of the girl being pampered with material wealth without working for it.
As much as I hate seeing an obvious golddigger myself, I have to admit...If I was a girl and attractive...you can bet that I'm going to be a total golddigger. I'm willing to bet that every guy out there that complains about golddiggers would do exactly the same. Hell, if you can get free shit for just being pretty, you'd be a fool to turn it away.
The way I see it, we're dealt a certain hand in life and we have to just make the most with what we have. Some people have good looks, some people have artistic talent, some people have athletic talent, some people are extremely intelligent...well you get my point. Being attractive is just another quality that some people have to use towards making it in life.
As for "hating" on the mismatched couple we sometimes see...think about this: Maybe the guy KNOWS the girl is a golddigger but he doesn't care. After all, he has what most guys dont - a hot girl. If he's lacking in the looks and height department, then why shouldn't he use his material wealth to make up for it? If the mismatched couple is aware of the nature of their relationship and they're both happy with it, then who's to say otherwise? Ultimately, it's none of our business what the nature of someone else's relationship is.
So to all the short ugly rich guys out there I say this: Go out and find your trophy girl and be happy with her.
To all the attractive girls out there: if you got it, flaunt it. Go out and find your sugardaddy.
My point is...fuck what other people think. It's your life, do what you will to make yourself happy. To each his/her own.

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, what would you do if you could be the opposite gender for a day? I think I'd spend some time "getting to know myself" for a bit and then go out and try to get guys to buy me shit all day. haha
I think girls would marvel at the wonder of waking up with a morning hard-on. They should also go out and see how hard it is for guys to pick up girls.

When I see mismatched couples, I simply think that the guy must be really charming and treat the hot girl ultra well.
I guess being treated well can be somewhat synonymous with being rich bc it takes money to treat a girl right...

I find women like that kinda misguided. If the dude is real ugly..really...the chick has to sleep with him for set amount of time till she can take his money etc...or maybe she stays with him, yet dude is still ugly. She thus forfeits here own sexual desires...etc.
This type of woman doesn't make me mad at all. I just think she would be better served to be a Prostitute or a stripper. This is what I would do if I were a hot chick...Ya make crazy $$$$. and ya get time off. Make sense?? I personally enjoy the company of strippers cuz it is honest and convo is usually interesting. i think it's hilarious how u say that u'd be a total gold digger if u were a girl. i hear that all the time from my guy friends. either that or that they'd be the biggest slut. if i was a guy for one day, i too would take some time to "discover myself," then hunt down all the hot girls and get some play :p

First, I don't make it my business to pry into others relationships unless asked questions. Next, if this blog is pointed towards the final picture of the chess champion and the girl, I don't find the man ugly. He must be very smart as chess is one of the most challenging of games. He has earned his money in the best way he knew how to do it and, wouldn't we all? The girl, nice looking but, I don't find her any more attractive than I find him. It's all in the mind of the jealous beholder.

just cuz a chick is going out with a rather unattractive guy doesn't mean that she's necessarily a gold digger. i'll tell ya. two of my ex's were not-so-attractive. didn't like em at first but the personality, intelligence & sheer mental/emotional attraction made the two look much much cuter in my eyes. in fact, the guy i went out with in college... whoa, i liked him SO MUCH. in fact, i think i ended up liking him more than he liked me at some point. and let me tell ya. when my friend originally told me that he was interested in me & wanted sogaeting i was like "hellllz no, he mad ugly". -_-

uhh first off scottie nguyens girl aint no trophy =P but back to my point: IF THE GIRL IS A GOLD DIGGER THE GUY IS USING HER FOR HER LOOKS. Hes paying to feel good with her on his arm. Not for the company or quality of the girl. Maybe later down the line but not initially. NOt in that circumstance. I dont hate on mismatched couples or look at it in disgust. HA-HA! I love this journal. I have to admit, all this is true. Because, I dont gold-dig....but. my BF is always having jeolousy problems with me because Im one of the top girls at my school...he thinks Im always messing around with guys and Ive told him before-Mostly all my close friends are guys! Anyways, for the gender switch for the day..that would be funny..though the hard on part would be the high light of my day. I think that I would have one for the whole day....I'd probably be scaring all the guys because um...u know...Im a girl and Im attracted to guys and Id probably forget that Id switched into a guy for that day...
