REPLY: Think of every girl like a glass of water and every guy like an eyedropper filled with ink. Everytime a guy and girl hookup, the water in the girl’s glass becomes tainted with ink. The more guys (eyedroppers) they come in contact with, the darker the water becomes until you’re left with nothing but a pool of sludge. For the guy however, no matter how many glasses of water you dip your eyedropper into, the eyedropper will remain the same as will the ink inside. Hope that clears that up for you.

REPLY: Here’s a little experiment for girls..the next time you’re out somewhere, whether it be a party or bar, go up to any guy and say “wanna go back to my place and fuck?” I guarantee you’ll have a fuck-buddy for the night before you even get to the second guy. Have a guy try the same thing and he’ll be lucky to get back home with anything less than 2 black eyes while he flogs the bishop. Let’s face it, it’s much easier for a girl to hook up with a guy at-will than vice-versa. As for guys thinking girls are too slutty, what makes you think that would keep any girl from getting laid? No guy would approach a slutty girl unless he was really desperate for ass? I beg to differ. The reason why a guy WOULDN’T approach a slutty girl is because he’s looking for a wholesome girl he can date and bring home to mom. Know what though? Those are the guys that end up going home alone and do the five-fingered shuffle. After all, nice guys finish last, right girls?

REPLY: Wanna talk about double standards? Why is it that girls can be as superficial as they want to be when it comes to looking for a mate while guys can’t? Any girl who said they didn’t care about a guy’s physical appearance (looks, height, etc), what they did for a living, how much money they made would be be lying like Bill Clinton after a blowjob. When a girl looks at a guy and thinks about the future, they don’t ask themselves, “Oh what do I have to offer to this guy?” It’s more like “What does this guy have to offer to me? Can he support me and my ridiculous necessities like shopping for more bags and shoes than there are days in the week? The last time I checked, striving to be like Imelda Marcos wasn’t on the list of “When you know you’ve finally made it!”
Now that being said, it is THAT wrong that a guy wants a girl with nice tits and ass? Comparatively speaking, guys really don’t ask for much from girls. We never ask ourselves what a girl does for a living or how much money they make, because we already know they’re the ones that are supposed to provide for the family already. Not fair guys? Oh well, that’s the way it is, we deal with it.
Guy like to hook up with slutty girls and marry wholesome ones. Just like girls like to hook up with badboys (more exciting supposedly) and marry the nice ones. It goes both ways, doesn’t it? So before the next time you bitch about double standards girls, take a close look at that Louis Vitton bag you’re about to buy, and ask yourself who the materialistic one is.

I come from a different time than most of you. At 60 years of age, my life was a little different than yours. That is not to say that sleeping around as it were did not happen when I was going to school. In fact, we all know that sex with more than one partner dates to the beginning of man. That doesn’t make it a healthy choice. Aside from the fact, especially now, that there are many physical health hazards the main problems with it are, as I see it, emotional. Men are not devoid of emotion but there seems to be in reality some difference in the way male/female brains work emotionally. Why we have inherited that difference I believe is to provide more stability in family life. I think it is much more complex, really. Men have that sex drive and lack of concern as to who with. Women now, want the same equality to provide them with the okay to hop into bed as often as the guys do and want it to be fine and dandy. Myself, I had to be emotionally involved with a man, in love as it were, to want him to touch me. In fact, my feeling is, keep your hands off my person unless I am in love with you and invite you to the party. At any time in my life that I took the opportunity to do the act with someone I didn’t love, I was completely sorry I did.
I married after a few mistakes, a wonderful man. He accepted me with his whole heart knowing all my faults and all my transgressions. We have been married now for 36 years, in fact tomorrow, New Year’s Eve is our 36th wedding anniversary. Our marriage has been very good, not perfect, just nearly perfect. He is a workaholic who has always been a company man. Sex was important but sleep and the company was more so. There were times I felt sex starved and temptations came into my life. I never, repeat never latched onto the temptation. Why? because I suffer from guilt feelings that never go away and I wanted my marriage to succeed. You can’t do one and have the other. I have a wonderful son from a former love. That former love was unavailable and I managed to see the error of my thinking and moved on to a better life that included my husband. If as young people you think you can live that life of multiple partners and never suffer any regrets and can do it safely, I say go for it but if you have respect for yourself, respect for the other party, love for yourself, a desire for a life unemcumbered with distracting thoughts of “why did I do that” then I suggest careful considerations of all your sleeping partners.
Double standards? should a guy and a gal be afforded the right to have the same number of sleeping partners? Yes, if you can handle it. Should a guy or a girl check out the goodies, eyeballing the tits and ass and his build or package or her blond hair or his chisled face before responding affirmatively. It seems that is a part of the mating dance and is utilized by creatures during the bonding process to find just the right one. Does a woman or a man have a right to be interested in what he or she makes monitarily before tying a knot. That seems to go hand in hand with security of family and was done even by the cave women who looked for the stronger provider.
Have things changed, I don’t really think so. We just have different evidences of the provisions. The cave man had a big club, muscled body and a large kill so was the man of the moment. Now, a good paying job is desirable. Do the differences make a lasting relationship, not in the least. What does make the lasting relationship is that commitment to the project of marriage and a desire to make it a good one at all cost. Can it be done? I think my marriage is living proof of that.
