I think Andrew is the cutest baby ever…but then again I guess every parent thinks that of their kid. 

I can’t believe how fast time flies.  While fatherhood is still a new concept to me, I’ve learned quite a few things already…

Here’s the little butterball at 14lbs 9ozs and 25 1/4 inches long after 2 months:

Can’t believe it’s been a month already…

Happy 1 month little buddy!!!

So Andrew went for his 2 week checkup and the little “monster” is up to 10lbs 2ozs already…

Speaking of “monsters”…

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

Ok well not exactly.  More like baby vs. puppy. 

After being discharged, Andrew came home for the first time and we weren’t sure how Toby aka Destroyer of Worlds would greet him.

In order to stake claim over his territory (our home), Toby had to make an example out of one of his subordinates.  In this case, it was his poor mini-tennis ball.

Andrew the Great on the other hand would have none of it.  He raised his fist like an angry god and the sky crackled like thunder. 

ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!    Erf?!?

In the end, Toby sat by Andrew’s right side, standing watch while his master slept.

On 10/17/08 at 6:45pm, one of the greatest moments of my life occurred…

The birth of my son Andrew…

Opening his eyes for the first time…

Only to look up and see…

The doctors and nurses are just amazed at how big you are!!

9lbs 6 ozs. at 22.5 inches long!!!

Don’t cry baby!

Wait…I recognize that voice!! It’s daddy!!

Let’s take you to go get washed up…

Let’s comb that hair of yours now!

That bath tired you out huh?

Ok get some rest little one and may your first night of dreams be as joyful as the one that came true for me when you entered this world.

Good morning

The son asked his father, “Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?

The father who, despite having a heart condition says, “Yes”. They went
on to complete that together & even completed other marathons. The father
always saying “Yes” to his son’s request of going through the race together.

One day, the son asked his father, “Dad, let’s join the Ironman together”.
To which, his father said, “Yes’”.

For those who don’t know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race
encompasses 3 endurance events:

A 2.4 mile ocean swim, a 112 mile bike ride & ends with a 26.2 mile run. Father & son went on to complete the race together.
